As you probably already know, I am a huge fan of looks that work for both day and night. Because sometimes there just isn't enough time to change! I love this outfit for summer. It's perfect for a day out at the vineyards, out shopping, or enjoying a picnic. And it works for a casual evening out as well. Just be sure to bring a sweater or cardigan with you in case you get cold from the blasting AC. I am a fan of wedges in the summer because sometimes you are in grassy areas and heels just tend to sink. Wedges are great because they give the same sexy effect as heels, but are just easier to maneuver. I would also like to point out how adorable the Newport News handbag is. I think it looks like it would cost a bit more than it does. A great find!

A Perfect Day to be on the water!

A wonderful summer activity is spending the day sailing or boating. Dressing for such a day can get a little tricky. I always think it is smart to dress a bit warm and bring along a bathing suit or have it on underneath. The bathing suit I have chosen would work well because it doesn't have any frills that could make it feel funny when worn under clothes. It may be a hot day, but once you get moving, the wind can sometimes be a bit chilly! And of course you must bring a bag large enough to carry everything you usually have with you as well as a change of undies or your swim suit if you plan to change into it. Here is a great outfit that is practical for the occasion, but very stylish as well! Should you be docking anywhere or stepping into any restaurants, you are dressed for that occasion as well! Some must haves for your day: Sunblock, lip balm, hair brush or comb, and a hair tie. Enjoy!

Attending a Spring/Summer Evening Wedding?

So a couple for my readers have weddings to attend in the near future. They are both evening weddings and are on the verge of Spring and Summer. I found this dress at Macy's and think its just perfect for a wedding. It comes in Yellow and Black. I think the yellow would work for both a daytime and an evening wedding. But the black would only work for the evening. The accessories I have matched with it would go with both colors. If all the colors are too bold for you, but you want to go with the yellow dress, you may opt for brown strappy shoes or pumps and gold accessories. Or you can stick with the silver shoes and add silver accessories. Whatever your taste may be! I don't recommend using a necklace when wearing a high neckline like this. Instead go for some larger earrings to draw focus upwards.
