It's a Wrap

I love wrap dresses for multiple reasons. They are forgiving. If you gain or lose a couple pounds, they will still fit you and look flattering. They are comfortable. They come in every imaginable print and fabric. They are flattering. They are available in high end designer names as well as non designer names. Did I mention they are flattering? You can wear them to a semi-dressy occasion, wear them to work, and wear them casual. I'm all about the wrap dress right now.

Two Designer Dress Look-a-Likes

These are not just look-a-likes, they look the exact same!! The first is an adorable jersey dress by Halston. And yes, it is the dress worn by Carrie on the Sex and the City 2 movie poster! I actually bought the XOXO version last spring not realizing it was a look-a-like or that it was a copy of the dress worn on the movie poster. But I love the dress! It is pretty and it is comfortable. And it can be dressed up or dressed down. Just don't wear it to a wedding! White is for the bride!

The second dress is by Black Halo. It's perfect for work and for an evening out to a nice dinner. You could even wear it to a wedding! Just a very classic and elegant black dress.

Get The Biker-Chick Look

Leather is always hot in one way or another. It never goes out of style. The biker look has stayed pretty consistent as far as style goes, with new twists here and there. I think the biker look is going to be very "in" this coming fall. The look is already popping up in the celeb world- hence the Angelina Jolie Micheal Kors strapless leather dress.
