Super Chic Sweater Dresses
Sweater Dresses are a Fall must have. They usually look awesome with a cute pair of boots. And I love pairing them with leggings or a cute pair of tights. Plus they feel super cozy AND are sexy! How great is that!? My favorites below are the dress from Old navy and the one from Tulle. I'm hoping to add them both to my wardrobe! Which ones are your favorites?

Fun Gray Leggings
Gray leggings are an excellent alternative to a classic black pair. But they are still very versatile and can be worn with almost anything you would wear the black ones with. They are easy to find, but not as easy as the black ones. I feel like gray ones show off more detail though. I plan to buy the Herringbone ones from Forever 21. I love the way they look! I love leggings. They are so comfy!! And I love that I can get away with them at work. We are business casual in my office. So I wear leggings with some really cute dresses I have that would be office appropriate if they were not so short! So I get away with them, thanks to leggings.

It's a Wrap
I love wrap dresses for multiple reasons. They are forgiving. If you gain or lose a couple pounds, they will still fit you and look flattering. They are comfortable. They come in every imaginable print and fabric. They are flattering. They are available in high end designer names as well as non designer names. Did I mention they are flattering? You can wear them to a semi-dressy occasion, wear them to work, and wear them casual. I'm all about the wrap dress right now.

Packing for a Tropical Vacation
Packing is always a little bit of a challenge. Especially when you are limited to the number of bags you can bring. Here is a guide of what to bring when visiting a tropical beach location and staying at a resort for 7 nights. Of course, this is just a guide, you will want to adjust to your particular needs.
Dresses:
Bring dresses. You will be in warm weather and chances are your resort will have some nice restaurants. Choose dresses that are light! I suggest a mix of casual and dressy. The casual ones will be great to throw on for lunch and for exploring the nearby areas. I think 4 casual and 2 dressy should be enough for the trip.

Mandarin-Print Mini Dress - $19.80 Forever 21
Naples Dress in Silk - $65 Lulus
Shoes:
This is the hardest part of packing. Shoes. How many? What colors? They are bulky and take up too much room! You only need 3 or 4 pairs. Buy a neutral color heel. Plan your dresses so they will match with this neutral color heel. Flip Flops! Pack a pair that will work for both the beach and for exploring the resort and area. If you decide to bring two pairs, make sure one is neutral so it will go with any outfit. And last, you need a good pair of sneakers. And don’t forget a couple of pairs of ankle socks! These are for those who want to explore the area and may do some adventure excursions or a lot of walking.

Massimo Inger Pleated Dress Shoe - $16.08 Target
Jessica Simpson Dinara Flip Flop – $13.99 Macy’s

Ryka Moira - $69.99 Lady Footlocker
Shirts:
You will be in warm weather. You don’t need any big bulky tops! I think bringing 4-5 tops is a good idea. You won’t need them that much. Chances are you will be in a bathing suit most of the time anyway!

Long Layering Tank - $8.50 Old Navy
Pleated Trim Top - $12.50 Old Navy
Sweaters: I think it is a good idea to bring 1 sweater. There might be some hard AC pumping when you visit certain places. Choose a neutral color. Ivory or cream is probably best!
Bathing Suits:I suggest bringing 5 bathing suits. Choose 1 or 2 that are a one-piece for those who plan to participate in water activities. And then roll up those bikinis and stuff them in the suitcase. You will wear these a lot and they are so small and easy to pack!

Twist Front Tank One Piece - $44.99 JCPenny
Bikini - $34 Victoria’s Secret (price per piece)
Shorts:I believe only 2 pairs of shorts will be needed. You can wear the same pair more than once. I’d suggest a cute pair of jean shorts as well as some khaki shorts to give you variety.

Build Your Suit Wardrobe
Build a Suit Wardrobe
Buying a suit is a huge pain! First of all, most of them are not flattering, so you have to go to a million places and try on a million styles before you find the style that is actually flattering to your body type. Then, if you work in an industry that requires a suit everyday, you have to find enough pieces that you are not wearing the same thing everyday! And, to top it all off, it gets expensive! So I am going to attempt to build a suite wardrobe that isn’t overly expensive and is actually stylish.
Start With Basics:
Begin with the basics. Buy matching jacket, pants, and skirt when possible. I’d suggest getting it in 2 colors if possible. Black, grey, tan and brown are the most common colors and are what a suggest since they are neutrals. I personally enjoy the fit of NY&CO., which is featured below. They also offer a huge variety of sizes. For each color, stick to one brand and buy all three pieces together so the colors and fabric match exactly. Also, many brands sell suits as sets. His can make it easy to match the colors and fabrics. Yes, they look boring, but I will show you how to make them have some style.

7th Avenue Straight Leg Pants - $39.95 NY&CO
City Stretch two Button Jacket - $59.95 NY&CO
Calvin Klein Two-Button Jacket & Classic Pants - $179.96 Macy’s
Get a couple of Dresses:
I suggest getting a couple of dresses that can pass in the suit category. They tend to be more stylish and it should be easier and less frustrating to find one that is flattering.
Stretch Wool Noir Shift Dress - $178 Jcrew
Shift Dress with Pockets - $89.50 Ann Taylor Loft
Now for the Shoes:
You don’t need a lot of shoes for your work wardrobe. I would go with neutral colors, but you can throw in a couple of colors for fun. I also suggest getting heels as well as flats.

Buckle Front Flat - $11 Go Jane
Tops and Blouses:
Here is where you can have a little fun and spice up your outfit! When shopping for your tops, it doesn’t hurt to bring along your suit jacket so you can see how it will look in the dressing room. Blouses can be fun too! You don’t have to get a plain, boring one. There are so many styles out there now with little details that are making them have more character. I suggest getting a variety of blouses, cami's, and shirts so you have many looks to choose from depending on what you have going on each day.

Cotton / Silk Ribbon Blouse - $60 Banana Republic
Add the Accessories:
Accessories can make the outfit. When dressing for work, classics are often the best way to go. I am a huge fan of layering pearls. But another great addition can be adding a broach or a pin. I always like to have a variety of both gold and silver tones. I am a big fan of Forever 21 jewelry. No, it is not the best quality, but it is cheap enough to allow you to have a great variety and to keep up with the latest trends.
